Have you ever noticed that when you take time to care for yourself, you are more prepared to serve others? So often, we forget this as moms!
Other times, we just don’t want to spend the money. If that’s the case for you, I’ve compiled a list of some of my favorite products that don’t cost a lot!
No excuses moms, take care of yourselves. 🙂
5 of My Favorite Cosmetics on the Cheap:
1.Queen Helene’s Julep Masque ($2.47)
This face masque is amazing! Particularly when I have break-outs, I use this masque to clear up my skin. (It can be used as an on-the-spot treatment as well!) Who would have thought the cheapest face masque I’ve ever bought would actually be my favorite?!
*Also, were you that kid who always put Elmer’s glue on your fingers and waited for it to dry so you could peel it off? If so, check out the Queen Helene’s Grape Seed Peel-Off Masque!
2.e.l.f. Liquid Eyeliner ($2)
I used to think liquid eyeliner was only for people who were super good at makeup (which I’m not!) But this e.l.f. product is easy to apply and does a good job emphasizing your eyes! I buy it at Target when I need other items, so I get the free shipping!
Also, e.l.f. Eyeshadow Palettes ($2) are decent as well, although I always prefer Mac to ANY other eyeshadow, if I can afford it! I buy e.l.f. palettes to experiment with varied colors!)
3.Forever 21 Gel Look Nail Polish ($3)
This nail polish is a cheap alternative to getting gels! They have limited colors online, but they have other options in-store- generally by the register.
4.Almay Bronzer ($3.99 & up)
If you are staying out of the sun, but want a little sun-kissed look, try Almay bronzer!
5.Almay Intense I-Color Eyeliner ($4.99)
Easy to put on, cheap but decent quality!
(Almay Macaras ($4.99 +up) are good too!)
Also, a little tip! If you happen to use M.A.C. products… Save your containers (like lipstick tubes or compacts) and when you get 6, turn them in to any M.A.C. location for a free lipstick!
Take care, moms!
